Becoming a scientist is a very noble profession. In the tradition of Galileo, Newton, Einstein and Hawking. The world we live in would not exist without science. Science is one of the greatest things to advance mankind ever. And we as humans have so much to still learn. With science the more you learn, the more you find how much you don't know. Not everyone can be a scientist. It takes patience, creativity and a methodical mindset. The scientific method cannot be practiced by everyone.
We know very little, and yet it is astonishing that we know so much, and still more astonishing that so little knowledge can give us so much power. -Bertrand Russell
One thing I have learned in a long life: that all our science, measured against reality, is primitive and childlike and yet it is the most precious thing we have. -Einstein
The scientist does not study nature because it is useful; he studies it because he delights in it, and he delights in it because it is beautiful. If nature were not beautiful, it would not be worth knowing, and if nature were not worth knowing, life would not be worth living. -Jules Henri Poincaré
